Grateful that you clarified at the end when you’re about to climb the stairs to get the sword back that if you fall off, it places you back on the platform. I was honestly more nervous about going up (and falling off) those stairs trying to recover the sword because I thought; “I made it all this way, just to fall off the stairs and have to start over.” I crouched-crawled up those stairs. 😂😂😂

The easiest way to beat the stone Talus is to wake him up and then run away, go behind one of the big trees, and climb it once he gets close. Once you're in the tree, he'll stay there and he can't hit you, so you can throw a round bomb at the stone on his back. Once he's stunned and falls down, then toss a cube bomb. He'll get to his feet in time for you to use the round bomb again. Rinse and repeat!

on floor 11, use the bombs on the trees where the archers bokoblins are. they gonna fall in the water. and that's instakill

If you’re like me and you fail to notice the chests until it’s too late to use the fire to get them, you can (with much patience and trial and error) climb the nearby trees, inch along the branch to get as close as possible, and chuck bombs at the platforms to destroy them and get the contents

wow - so many helpful hints. I've made it through the trials on regular mode and am now working on master mode. I never would have thought of using a korok leaf to blow them in the water - awesome! Also, I'm annoyed that I never thought to blow up all three bokoblins on the very first floor when they go for the weapons together. And - thank you for the assurance that it is OK to fall off the bridge at the end. I tell ya, when I finished the final trial, walking that bridge was the most stressful part of the whole thing! thanks for the videos!

Floor 8 Tip a arrow to the camp fire, so alle take attention to it, wait until the e-Choocho is close to the lizalfors, shoot it, and than start the attack fast.

For the Talus I'd suggest using a two-handed weapon and a charge/spin attack (of course, after climbing on top of them), even the hammer found in one of the early levels (which I'd suggest to use to open containers throughout the trials up to the Talos) does a good amount of damage due to the damage bonus 'mining weapons' receive when striking them (with the exception of the Talos with a luminous or a rare mineral patch on top).

I found it a lot easier to use a remote bomb to keep him in place and then keep throwing them at him from a tree - detonate in mid air. He stays stunned in place pulling up boulder arms and no damage. Easier than running around - I learned that the hard way.

This was my 3rd time trying the Beginning Trials. Not all tips that I've seen in walkthrough guides will work for me. On Floor 10, if you can be prepared with stasis, that helps with the Lizalfos who alerts the others. Take him out. On Floor 11, it seemed so cool to use the raft and come in blasting, but it's easier to receive damage this way if you aren't so precise with the bow and arrow. And then I forgot about the black moblin. KO! So it does take a few tries to see what works with your playing style. I love how you show us it's OK to try again and again. Also, I did not know before that you CAN load up on hearts (Hearty Durian is really great - I have the minimal hearts for the sword trial). Also, I made a 30 minute attack up elixir, then save! Link can't go in with his weapons, armor or inventory, but they can't take away any of the elixirs he has just taken. If you get KO'd, at least you can start with the same preparation as before. It takes patience, but repeating this a few times helped me figure out what worked for me. I love your videos, thank you!

Thank you so much… But I am sorry I do not have one showing all the shrines that would take quite some time to make one … I target a shrine with my Sheikah slate to find shrines …some are hidden within puzzles such as the 3 shrines associated with the dragons, which I do have a video on those…then there is the Leviathan bones that will reveal a shrine which I also have a video … a landscape of a stable is another one that I do have a video on … those are a few that were a little tricky to find other than that I only have some random shrines that I have actually made a video on

2:39 or you place your remote bombs close to the entrance, lure them out, explode the bombs and single them out. Because, so the food don't grill or burn (ungrilled food you can cook later on), BUT it depends how you play and how good you in the fighting system.

The Talus wasn't my problem but the korok leaves and waving those things in the water was lol....never mind it's optional after all.......but after all this time I leanred you could kill those octo things just by using a shield lol...I usually shoot them. And I got the wizadoo which is not something I go after usually. Your videos are great....will try this one again lol And cooking wood is brilliant......!!!!!

seriously i just did the beginning trials today and I was chopping down trees for acorns and had a HUGE stash of wood because of it, never crossed my mind to cook it, genius!

You won’t get dubious food from mixing buffs, they’ll just cancel each other out and give you a no buff food. You get dubious food from mixing elixir components with meal components. For floor 11, you can blow up the platforms or light them on fire if you’re out of or low on arrows, or just a bad shot.

What does passing these trials actually do? Everybody keeps cutting their videos off before the game reveals the reward. Does it makes the sword last longer, or recharge faster?

I think it is worth it to do the trials. It is definitely an adventure. Go practice some more with combat get a few more hearts, and you might be a little more prepared for it then it can be more enjoyable for you😉

@@WTF-Gaming Yeah I know....been using that shrine to get in lol I loot the place regularly and get as far as the Observatory (there's a Royal Bow there) and then I paraglide out of the balcony. Someone said don' go higher cos you'll trigger the Ganon cutscene. even been to Zelda's study. Thanks anyway..I think I need to reach the Sanctum...there are videos but I prefer yours.

I used a 30 minute attack boost for the first two trials and a defense boost for the final trial. I wasn’t worried about time so it will wear off, but it can be helpful in the beginning.

@@WTF-Gaming I'm through the first trial been kinda putting off the second one and doin shrines cause I'm nervous 😂 I'm at 103 shrines then once I get 120 and the master sword trials I havnt decided if I'm gonna get all the koroks it seems super tedious but I do kinda want a 100% save. Thank God part 2 comes out in a couple months I got into this series at the perfect time I started playing in February 🤓

Yes the Koroks are tedious, I still have a few that I haven’t gotten 🤣… but just go for it on the trials, take your time and have fun with them, and you did pick a good time to get into it. That way you’re not waiting and waiting for years for part two🤣🤣

Yes you can leave after a trial and come back … if you die in the middle trial, you can just start the middle trial back over you don’t have to go back through the beginning trials, once you complete them
