Thank you so much for this! After several failed attempts, I made it to Floor 22 but in severely weakened condition. I had exhausted all my ancient arrows on the previous stationary guardians having activated them all at once. My food was nearly gone due to the Lynel and other guardians. Then went the fairies. I hunkered down inside the tower where I was safe but the moment I stepped outside there would be 1, 2, even 3 targets on my back. I struggled valiantly to the bitter end against the ancient mechanical foes with my ever weaker weapons, as my supply of bomb arrows and strong swords ran out. In a last ditch effort to survive I tried to parry the laser beam from the turret bro with my shield. Alas, my timing was off and I died atop that gloomy tower. It was the darkest day. Then I hopped on here and found your video. I learned how to spank those pesky taluses and fire moblins. I one-shotted the lynel. I tiptoed and avoided rousing the sleeping guardian bois until it was too late for them and I was all up in their grill smashing with a claymore. I was able to conserve my food and ancient arrows and thus I dominated floor 22 on this try. All that was left was 23. I slashed my way through with reckless abandon, again one-shotting the horsey-man (ofc) and triumphantly claiming my 60 power glowing sword at the end. All because of this video. So I say, thank you!

I attempted the final trials almost 5 years ago and I got so frustrated I put it down and never tried again until this week. Your guide here made it simple to understand and how to best prepare and after about 4-5 tries I made it all the way thanks to you! Finally a weapon that is unbreakable! So worth the effort. If you get the chest out at the beginning you can actually use it to target the lightning at the monsters too... You can even purposefully toss the metallic weapons for a minute. They're dumb enough to pick it up. And the lightning will definitely blow them apart

These trials took me an entire day on master mode. The final trials I ended up dying on the last floor my first time. On my second play through the final break room had no fairies. Which bummed me out. I also ended up fighting that lone lynel and getting his bow. Everyone says use an ancient arrow but then you don’t get his stuff. Using his bow on the last floor with bomb arrows was sooo much better than shooting 1 at a time.

Time stasising a mounted enemy lets the horse run away underneath that enemy - one of my favourite ways of dealing with mounted enemies due to the funny look of a bokoblin sitting in the air. ... ... ... Now I feel bad for mentioning those spin attacks during your first two trial videos again and again - you do that here a couple of times. :D It is not much, but when standing next to an ice block you want to melt draw and sheathe your weapon in quick succession, this speeds up the melting by a small bit, but as I said, it is not much, but on the other hand it is something to do while the ice melts away and thus nothing else can be done but to wait and this fact makes it feel much more rapid than it acutally is. One habit I got used to when fighting Lynels is when they run at me without weapons drawn and I achieve a flurry rush, I do not hit the attack button, but instead hold sprint and head towards him, oftentimes allowing me to hop on to his back and punch him a few times with my most powerful weapon (for those who don't know, when sitting on a Lynels back (as seen at 13:25 onwards) a weapon used to attack him does not use up any durability, making a royal guard claymore found in castle Hyrule an ideal choice for this). When performing a spin attack and killing all nearby enemies with it, try to cancel it by pressing sprint instead of slamming your weapon into the ground - your weapon will thank you by being available a few additional hits. The walking guardian can theoretically be stunlocked almost for the entirety of his lifespan by smashing away leg after leg, eventually getting a hit on the body of the guardian itself if jump-cancelling is used (jump-cancel: jump after an attack hits, because this is quicker than waiting for the animation to finish, especially fo two handed weapons, which I'd only suggest using against guardians if you know what you do, they can screw you due to slow animation times and the guardians ai, which forces it to move out of melee range) - but as I said, theoretically, there are more than enough ancient arrows to not bother with it at all.

And yes I agree with the spin attacks on a Hinox …it works well! Maybe I didn’t have a weapon available for that in the first two trials I really can’t remember… they all start running together after a while and you just wanna get through them🤣…But thank you so much for all of your comments and your tips they are all great tips and thank you again for watching!

For floor 23, the first thing I did was light the grass with a fire arrow to creat an updraft, then I glided up and just start bomb arrowing the crap out of everything with a multi shot bow! Lol

I used defense+ for my runs, and the damage reduction is pretty massive. Some attacks that normally take multiple hearts suddenly only take a quarter. If you're still prone to frequently getting hit, this is an absolute godsend. Also, it's surprising how much easier the trials become when you know what the floors have beforehand. Understanding the room and knowing how to make use of what you have is a large part of the challenge. So despite my mediocre skill with combat, I managed to finish the final trials with most of my fairies and some leftover ancient arrows. 😊👍 I recently returned to the game and started some focused practice with parrying and dodging. Partly because I might try Master Mode, and if not, it'll be good practice for when I eventually play TotK. This is a game that makes me feel unspeakably frustrated when I fail to do something, and I'm getting hit and rolling/ragdolling for the hundredth time ... but when I skillfully kill an enemy, or otherise accompish a tough challenge, it feels so damn good! 💪😤

For anyone who needs good tips on the last floor. I was able to keep my ice rod from earlier on and it was super easy to beat those bobkalins. They die instantly getting hit with ice rod from the distance. You can swing it as they are charging toward you. I screwed up on 21 and 22 floor with my ancient arrows down to last 2. Missed couple shots as I was so freaking nervous. Once I took out the lynel, and with ice rod chasing away a bunch of bobkalins to the far corner. I went to turid guardian and finish it off after lynel. The rest of bobkalins I killed with ice rod without having to fight any of them. I didn't even get 3 fairies on the last pit stop for some reasons. Maybe because I didn't use any of the previous one. Go slow and take your time to target each enemy to your advantage.

Well, this was a crazy day of Sword Trials for me! To break up some of the stress, I took it on this time in stages (storm section, fire section, ice section and guardian section), to give me time to settle my nerves between whiles, so I didn't make some nervous knee-jerk movement. That's what got me iced by that Wizrobe on Floor 15 last time! Still, I took your advice. I used ice on fire enemies, fire on ice enemies and I made much tactical use of my thunder blade to disarm and steal the weapons of the heavy foes! Got a little hairy on the fire talos though, because I ran out of ice arrows and had to just bite the bullet and take the damage... lucky I was cooking up those hearty meals! I made short work of the Lynels and most of the Guardians with my ancient arrows (or tried to get in close to strike the Guardians after stunning them with arrows). The only major setback in the last room came from the bokoblin cavalry, who mobbed me whilst I was banishing the Lynel... I ended up stun-locked for a while as they insanely kept riding over me even whilst I was ragdolling! (Strangely but luckily enough, in that state, I got mercy-invincibility until I was actually allowed to get up) I got my revenge though, once my bombs started decimating them, allowing me to grab a horse and a spear to even the score... then there was only the turret to take out to seal the deal.

Great video! Thx for the tip on cooking the wood, I'd completely forgotten about it. I always get every bit of wood I can because a lot of times the quickest way - or the only way depending on the level - to get up in the air is to toss down 4 bundles of wood and set them on fire. It's kinda funny that these levels and enemies look easier than the beginner levels. lol

@WTF! Gaming I finally did it tonight. I had my daughter yesterday and kept waiting for her to take a nap so I could play. I got off work today and said ok,today is the day lmao it was such a disaster from room 3 up. I almost restarted and I was going to wait. I mean a disaster lol not only did I get my rear kicked in room 3 and 10 from being nervous but I misfired 3 ancient arrows. I forgot the weapons from the stalnox. I hardly had any weapons for the duration of the trial. I thought well ill see how far I get and I'll have a goal. Killing off those last bokos with bomb arrows was so sweet. Thanks to you I just have 382 koroks and I'll be 100. I never thought I'd get this far considering kids and over working lol excuse my rambling... I can't believe I pulled that off considering how badly I messed it up.

This may have been mentioned in another comment, but to help reserve your resources, just stand against ice that needs to be melted with a fire weapon out. It takes a little longer but saves your wood, weapons, and arrows! Just have Link hold the weapon in his hand and stand against the ice. It will keep melting until it's gone.

You can also stand buy ice with a flame weapon equipped but not in your hand and it will slowly melt the ice not as fast as swiping at it or burning a fire but if time is not important to you you can just wait for the ice to melt

On 15 I like to steal the bokoblins' weapons first. Then run back towards the starting point to make some distance from the wizrobe and hit him with a fire arrow. The label is pretty easy after that.

@@WTF-Gaming 👍👍👍 I crushed a vertebrae last December and was incapacitated for 3 months 🤣. My mind needed something, so I got a Switch, Mario Bros and BOTW. Mario was way too stressful 🤣🤣🤣, but BOTW, MAN! I was instantly addicted! It's been one year and I'm STILL discovering places and things. Beating the game is almost irrelevant 🤣. There are so many other adventures 👍.

@@dragonflytoo I completely agree with beating the game is almost irrelevant… Because you get so sidetracked.🤣 I hate that about your vertebrae but since you mentioned it, I had to have back surgery a while back and that’s what made me end up starting this gaming channel. I also needed something to do and that’s when my brother turned me onto BoTW I as well was instantly hooked! I hope you Had a speedy recovery!

I'll be honest, I was cocky and overly confident in my parry skills against guardian beams ... until I did the trials. The fact that you restart if you die just isn't worth the risk for me!

Having enough Ancient Arrows to fight the last floor is mandatory if you don't have any more Ancient Arrows you have no chance of winning

Great video as all the others! By chance do you know if some of the weapons and Items are random? Seems at the same level I have no were near the amount of arrows, and some weapons. Perhaps I missed...just curious, and again thank you!

I think it is the same, I am notorious for collecting weapons from enemies that shoot them before I kill them arrow hoarder so to speak🤣 and I target a treasure chest, so I end up finding all of the treasure that is on the levels plus collecting weapons from the enemies

Awesome guide! Have to ask, how come you don't just parry the decayed guardian blasts? One parry per guardian and they are toast. Same for the stalker but it takes two.. Is it because it is too risky? And you prefer to be safe and methodical in the trials?

I can parry them but I know a lot of people can’t … and I was trying to make an easy guide so that it would help people get through the trials but yes I am a cautious player at times, and starting those trials over is no fun🤣 I had already beaten them once before I made this guide, but I had several people ask me about it, they were having trouble… so I decided to go through them again😜 about halfway into it, I second-guess myself🤣🤣 it was bad enough doing it the first time!
