These chords sound right to my ear. Now that I’ve learned how to strum, I can finally tackle it. I was fortunate enough to see the original Chicago Transit Authority w/Terry Kath do this song 1971 ish at the Boston Gardens. IMHO the soul of Chicago passed with him. It would’ve been a very different band. That being said, the original album is still one of my all-time favorites and good from track one to the end. I miss Terry. I miss you too, man. I hope you’re well. Peace. You probably have a little more without KZbin huh? 👍🙏

Born in Chicago, first concert (1973) was Chicago/Beach Boys downtown. Chicago rocked but BB’s brought the house down.

Wow...so many great musicians and songwriters in our generation..maybe someday there will be a renaissance of a desire to play an instrument. I never realized how great that song is. This is awesome, thanks. Sergey Kashirin (guitarist for Leonid & Friends) has talked about how he's studied Terry Kath videos as much as possible to find the right voicings. As impressive as their studio KZbin videos are, they are terrific live. We saw them during the summer and are seeing them again this Sunday night in St. Charles IL. Can't wait!
