Wonderful video! I have participated in the Prosopon School of Iconography for many years, under the warm, kind guidance of Dmitri Andreyev. Andrejev is a remarkable person, even better, someone who has cultivated a Spiritual soul that expresses itself in icons. The colors are unique, almost other worldly. Watching this, I understand (slightly) his desire to have light permeate his work, coming from the back, not the front.
