Can understand the young peoples' desire for greener pastures, but just be careful. A lot of Europe, US and western nations are also going through tough economic times and are increasingly closing their borders, even to educated people. The Mediterranean is a death trap. So many desperate people die trying to get to Europe every day. Here in Europe we hear Asia is rising. Perhaps educated ambitious young Pakistanis should also look at countries in Asia we traditionally haven't so far. I remember a friend of my father went to the Soviet Union in the early 70s to do an engineering degree. All his other friends who left Pakistan usually chose UK, USA etc. Those were much easier times despite the cold war in many ways. Wish your nephew the best of luck in his future endeavours whatever he decides to do ❤

Inflation is rising every where. Here in USA everything is expensive now. From petrol to daily grocery. Salary is not keeping up with the inflation. 4.05$ petrol per gallon in Philadelphia. 3.69$ in my neighborhood and we’ll around 4.15$ in Chicago where my family lives. Insane. Back to school shoppings are going on and let me tell you “wal-mart” which is a go to store for back to school shopping has 50% increase on common supplies for kids like pencils, crayons, book bags, clothes and shoes but pay for a middle class man is still the same it was 4 years ago. The difference I think is you can do 2 jobs in USA easily to make up for inflation but I don’t know if jobs are available in Pakistan. Be ready to sacrifice your life and family if you have to do 2 jobs in USA.

Zia Bhai: very interesting & informative video! Firstly, your visit to this area near the banks for lunch was a new stop for me! You could see a difference in the customers! No pushing, no big crowds, tables for everyone. I suspect office workers! Secondly, the food stalls were just OK! Nothing special! But thirdly & not least was your nephew, Hassan's very candid & honest assessment of the current economic & political problems in Pakistan! He couldn't be more right, sadly! The Pakistani government has failed the people for most of the history of the country! I can see why so many people say that Pakistan is dirty. Just watch most of the food vendors handling your food without gloves & so many flies today! Where do they wash their hands? And on top of everything else, this year, Pakistan has suffered the worst floods, train crashs & sucicide ethnic bombers! I hope someday to visit Pakistan when things improve! MASHALLAH
