U might encounter players that can consistently hit air dribbles in high plat low diamond it's not uncommon. Some players focus more on mechanics rather than rotations in high gold/low plat and that leads to them having great mechanics for their rank but lacking a bit rotationaly.

when behzinga is talking about people being smurfs as they are quite good at the air, i dont think they are thats classic plat skill, i think that the real reason that Ethan is in plat+ is that he knows when to interfere with the ball (at least more than regular plats) which helps himself and his tm8 to position better

​@patestetes3656 do you think you're good because u practice the wrong mechanics? There's a reason your plat. U can get to low gc1 with just power shots, saves, and rotations. Plat is easy to get out of just hit the ball and you get to diamond, then champ. It's not hard. You're bad if u think aerial in Plat makes u good

Tips for getting better: watching pros play, seeing them play really makes you try to copy what they do. Also changing camera settings and swivel speed/dodge settings. (youtube tutorials)

Not sure if you've got your bumpers set to air roll but that helped me when going for aerials(LB as air roll left and RB as air roll right). Also when you land you keep more momentum if you hold your drift button so you can recover quicker.

The thing is with us we practiced air roll for hours in free play and maps while we were in gold and plat. He doesn’t have the time for it because he probably doesn’t play off stream. That’s why people from his rank can consistently hit the ball in the air

@@_Jayson1730 The only practice i've done was free play while waiting for a match to start. I just had friends who are better than me give me tips on what to do better and watched how they played. Cant remember where but i've seen videos where behz says he plays off stream a decent bit just for fun.

If you want to improve, the best way to do so would be a couple things that are super easy without changing your playstyle (ish): -Work on smart touches, stuff that gets the ball down field and away from your opponents -Spend time in freeplay and just work on hitting the ball hard. Once you get more mechanical (if you want to in the future), you can work on mechs there to -Training packs. Use training packs to work on aerials and hitting the ball in the air. You don't even have to focus on scoring, just good touches in the air goes a long way Hope this helps! Love the content!
