@@Mind-your_poptarts555v thinking of you today, I know how tough it is to sit with all of these parts of ourselves. I struggle with this also and the one thing that helped me so much was IFS therapy and talking in third person. She is struggling right now, she is overwhelmed, or I say “a part of me thinks etc.” Creating that distance between myself and the thought or feeling was life changing. Like “oh wow, ofcourse she feels this right now. “ which led me to be able to hold compassion and nonjudgment towards that part of her (me). And then if I can’t escape the judgement or feel bad for that then I remember that’s a part also! and call her in. No bad parts. I wish I could give them all a huge hug and have to remind them that sometimes their idea of helping (thoughts, behaviors, etc) isn’t the best but I know they mean well. Sitting with ourselves and our parts and all of their thoughts is hard work. You are not alone, you are so whole and this will get lighter, easier, and so much better soon. I see you and all of your parts and send love to each and every one of them. I hope you’re as well as possible and that you have relief soon! Sorry for the essay and not giving advice in anyway btw, just sharing. I respect everyone’s process and am not invalidating your experience at all-hang in there and sending so much love

I get that so much. The big 40 is coming up and I have done that more than a few times. The life I made for myself is not at all what I wanted. At this point with all my health issues I don't know what the future looks like other than I raise my son mostly by myself.
