I think that when this happens the Universe (higher powers etc.) needs us to get out of our own way. When we worry about something, ask for help and continue to worry about it, we are keeping our free will intact and communicating that we aren’t done trying to fix it yet. These suggestions to cook or write or go do some yoga is to distract us from worrying and lend some positive energy to the outcome. It’s a way to let go, a sign of faith that we’ve been heard. It’s so powerful when we can truly take this advice and not question why we are being asked to do such a simple thing.

Omg Jess! It’s so funny that you talk about this. A month ago, after the eclipse, I asked the divine for guidance. All i heard was ‘get your house in order’. Every day I’d ask and get the same answer lol, and loud too! I have since repainted my kitchen, cleaned the whole house upside down, fully re-energized my closet, as well as meditated and exercised every single day because I wasn’t sure if God was referring to my actual house or my spiritual house. Needed this, thank you! I recently moved from FL to SC, moved in with my bf, and obviously undergoing the job/routine transition that accompanies this move. I personally find stillness through going on a run, reading a book, taking a bath, meditating, sitting at the lake etc. Many ways to bring yourself into stillness without having to actually be still and I think that's where people can get confused.
