Your toddler analogy describes my soon ex husband perfectly. He fits the description of a vulnerable narcissist to a “T”. I feel like a toy he was bored with and stopped using until I started going out with my girlfriends. Then he wanted his toy back only so nobody else was allowed to enjoy it. He didn’t really want me, but nobody else was going to be near me either.
