I don't know what people really think or how they process information given to them. Anyone watching this must be a fan of weightlifting, so it's a bit surprise to me they don't know what they are watching. They are the same people who are fed wrong info on the news and believe it. Guys, this is 2.5 KG plates NOT 25 KG. As simple as that.

@gripalawadhi I wont be surprised if it is real ,,, Silver medalist Russian lifter : Klokov ,, Does 100kg of one arm snatch after retirement Why wont a gold medalist in open weight do a 120 kg ?
@hfar70078 ай бұрын
Bro are you joking? Klokov did 100kg one handed jerk with all of his body, involving his legs back and all the other muscles with so much pressure, Salimi pivks the so called 120kg only with his shoulder? He is from my country Iran but believe the weights are fake, he maybe can lift 120kg with one hand but not so easy like this, it's gonna take a lot of effort and energy and all the other muscles would be involved in the process not just shoulder, that's not possible
@mohammadalansari14218 ай бұрын
Thats true the only unbelievable thing is that its strict snatch , but if it was light power one hand snatch i would believe even if it was 140kg
@ErrantChordier5 жыл бұрын
it was a joke, gave me a smile. Just by the way he walks up, acts surprised, quickly grabs it, talks, laughs That said, if you understand physics you will be able to tell that this feels fake. If it were really 125 kg (don't forget the collars) then the inertia would push his body around as he moves it. Instead his body barely moves, it clearly weighs far less. Also he easily tilts the bar in his hand, it would take inhuman grip strength to move real weights that easily. If you guys think something looks "off" then there is good reason for it Those "25 kg" plates are too fat for real Eleiko 25s. Those are 2.5 kg technique plates, so with the collars he's lifting 35 kg. Also his best snatch is 216. Try lifting two-thirds your maximum snatch with one hand and you will see it is nowhere near this easy If you want to see what a real lift looks like, search for Misha Koklyaev one arm snatch 110 kg. Misha snatched 210 back in the day, so almost as much as Salimi, but 110 is not easy for him anyways, it's just a joke, those guys are having fun, so just laugh at it!

it's not fake, the weights are 2.5 for kids training, or amateur training. And i guess that the bar was just there for exhibition, for the fans to take photos and post them on social media...
