Jack Frost The only time you actually get experience in operations and conquest for kills. Multi kills, and squad wipes out the wazzu. Just wish there was more maps for the dreadnought. Coolest one of them all.

carl main I had a conquest match on Monte Grappa the other day where the enemy team just gave up and ditched their zeplin at 65% health in the middle of B & D point because we kept flaking the crap out of their gunners. At least you weren't gang raped because the enemy team outnumbered yours 3 - 1 because the game has no semblance of auto team balance as of yet.

+SL4V3RS4V3R I haven't played the full game yet, but if the truck is the same as it was in the beta, then it's really op. It's easy to kill but it's very very fast and also smart positioning and knowing when to get away makes it really op. The AA truck decimates airplanes like nothing.

Who else thinks we need a map with multiple behemoths? Imagine a 3 team conquest where each team gets a behemoth (random) and just imagine. Dreadnought destroying everyone below the Zeppelin while the Train guns them both down with mortars and AA guns. Real next gen warfare.

If you wanna take out the blimp go ahead and get a plane and parachute on top of it. Have your squad (all assault classes) and have one guy sit with a shotgun covering the top gun and have everyone just throw grenades and use the anti tank gun on it and just keep spawning on eachother. They can't do anything about it so it's fast and effective and make sure to get off when it's around 3% because you'll die with it if it goes down when your on too

Easy to kill on Amiens with a light tank though because the tracks are dipped under the bridge and game area instead of being level, so I can just target the top of the behemoth guns instead of straight up combat.

lewis gun hasn't got a suppressor version, assuming you mean the suppressive lewis gun. It has a bigger drum mag a optic and a bi-pod for accurate mid range suppressive fire. Same goes for the mg15 suppressive

Gdude2k in real life, I would say not much, back then the Zeppelins went way to high for artillery to hit it and if it did it did a small amount of damage, and air craft, well It could get above itinerary it was low but if it was high up no chance to get above, most bullet damage from planes did nothing but there were 2 off set bullets that could kill a Zeppelin if it focused fire in one area. This was at the start of the war btw. And you can learn more by a documentary on the Internet, this might not be the most accurate, sorry about that

Just because you "Lost" the first map doesn't mean you lost the game, they still have to take the second map to get a win. Ive been on attacking team and Defending team and on attack i have never won the second map and thus lost. but always won on defense

yeah this sucks. ive never even got to certain maps on operations because defense always wins. i want a game mode like this but the way like rush. theres one map per match, and both teams get to attack and defend, game over ---> next map. never played sinai or argonne and only once the small desert map, cant remember the name. i love this mode and clearly the maps are focused on this mode, theres a lot of unused areas on conquest. this makes it sad that i cant play more than 4 - 5 maps and with bad luck even them only half way. DICE MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

I am starting to hate operations due to airships raining death on me multiple times and I can't do anything about it as I spawn out in the open every time. It's just not fun getting killed over and over from something you can't touch as all AA guns are destroyed. Attackers need something to help them win but the behemoths are not that thing in my opinion. Perhaps defenders have to spawn at their base and not the flags would be a good balance, along with a longer respawn time. Some people may disagree but behemoths in operations, specifically on the open maps with little air cover, is starting to drive me away from the game mode.

While shooting any type of heavy weapon on any behemoth, while the rounds are going down range, you can spot enemies so you can make more precise shots on the next salvo.

confirmed: you can swim out to the dreadnought and put a limpet mine on it. I swam to the prow of the ship and nobody even noticed me. I was able to swim back to shore with no problems. I equipped the mine before I went in the water. You can throw AT grenades at it too while treading water.

MeechTree yeah, AA wasn't working that way, AA was either a storm of bullet or a realy big shell, but with no sensors or any way to set a variable fuse. there were no midflight detonation.

The explosion height is random in real life. And they suck so we stopped using them Hell mini guns are more effective. And if you get a direct hit that doesnt always mean the shell will explode, it could over penetrate those weak ass airplanes

Christopher Weaver in real life each shell is equiped with a "smart fuse" that is primed at the end of the cannon. the cannon use sensor data to estimate the time the shell will take to get to the target and command the shell to explode there. it is still a good AOE to clean up mess but missiles are far more effective.

You get way more kills operating as gunner because every goddam person on the map attacks the fucking behemoth instead. I just got the game on Christmas, and got the driver seat 18 fucking times. All I do is stare intently at the minimap to find that fucking field gun guy sniping me show up for a millisecond.

the only time i ever get the chance to spawn on a behemoth is the airship top gunners that never have anything to shoot at so people just spawn then jump off to parachute to the ground below

there are huge problems however: Dreadnaught: Everything that has a cannon shell or an explosive round is focused on you, also when you're attacking it, snipers can easily kill you. Zeppelin: Snipers... can take you out at a seconds notice, inside the mounted guns. Armored train: Everyone throws grenades at you like it's New year, and it's often positioned where troops have the higher ground. Plus, it can't move very much.

Can someone please tell me what to do as airship pilot on the alps map? What i always do is, I Take the nearest thread for the airship down first (e.g. AA-gun behind enemy lines). After that I try to take the point which is the most crowded by enemys (to bomb them away). But when I play this way people Start to insult me and request to ban me. So please tell me: how am I supposed to play on this map, as it is my favourite one and i love being in the blimp ;D

There are spots on the airship or zeppelin that disables the bombs it drop, it's those small gaps in the middle of the ship, aim for those no more bombs

09:00 holy shit, sinai desert on operations! didnt know that was possible. DICE please make a game mode like this but there is 1 map per match, and both teams get to attack and defend. then starts another map, another match. ive never been able to play argonne forest, sinai desert or even empires edge on operations. i love this game mode, and clearly the maps are more designed for this mode than conquest but it sucks that i can play only less than half of the maps in the game because defense always wins. why cant it be like other game modes and unlock all maps...

Also for torpedo boats vs the dreadnought they have some massive range! If the enemy dreadnought is sitting still you can shoot torpedoes from your spawn and hit it.

Behemoths ruin this game, mainly because it comes down to ONE player (the driver) to use it properly. If they suck, gg, you were losing anyway. If they are amazing, gg, you win because they're OP. This and elite classes should have never been added to the game, it takes away from the spirit of Battlefield and often times if your team is good, it's better to just go into a deficit early on to get a Behemoth then easy mode for the win. Our squad has absolutely carried games before, but when the Behemoth spawns, there's not much 4 people can do against it and all that hard work goes out the window because of some "participation award" event that was added to the game to hand-hold players just like they've been doing since Battlefield came to console and 2d/3d Spotting was added to the game.

Xxp0r I completely agree with you. Dice should add a kick a player out of behemoth option just like in bf2 where you can start a vote to start a mutiny against a commander.

The best way to take down the airship is to use the AA variant of the altelry truck I've taken down so many airship with it. BTW I think the airship needs a buff

I wish they did a thing where if your squad was doing a lot of work then the game would offer that squad an early seat before its actually on the map, then if you dont want it you let anyone else on your team get in it.

when attacking the airship its much better to hit the parts of it all around it 2 each side the front and the back it will deal insane amount of damage sometimes its only 1 minute to kill it

There's an AA variant of the Artillery Truck that's good for taking down the Airship. Just remember to move every time you kill someone because the salty bastards gonna come looking for you with an Assault kit.

I destroyed about 3-4 torpedo boats with the canons before the dreadnought was destroyed, it's not that hard

BF1 just feels like a monkey party... nobody is playing the objective. Tanks and planes are getting wasted like nothing and nobody is spotting shit or revives. I don't know but this is the worst BF community so far. It's more or less a 1v63 in some rounds. The best thing though: you are driving tank with a friend and you need to repair your tank and get out because you can't repair from inside while under fire. Your teammate is holding the enemys of with mgs but some random guy just gets in and steals the driver seat... You can't imagine how frustrating it is if that guy also ignores your request to switch the seats. DAMN

should do what me and a buddy did for the train. 1 assault, 1 support, everything AT equipped. I'm talking mines, grenades, dynamite, whatever and just walk right next to it and punish it. the guns can't hit you. works faster with another assault.
