Battlefield 1 Best Sidearms For All Classes

There have been a lot of comments asking me to mention the Mars Automatic. It's damage at range is decent but it also has the slowest time to kills in the game. So it can be a decent gun for followup kills at range but if you're looking for a sidearm to do some real damage real fast, the Mars is literally the worst choice in the game. It has a unique play style but I doubt the average player is going to get much use out of it compared to the guns I have recommended in this video. But please I encourage you to do your own testing and see if it fits your play style.

I enjoy using the bodeo revolver for the scout class. Something about the aesthetics just clicks with me, and I like the ability to two shot an enemy in close ranges. The reload is manageable once you get used to it.

I don't know how they haven't figured out how to balance LMGs properly yet, they literally did it with the Snipers, why not set it so they do lower damage up close giving the edge too the SMGs and do more damage at distances say 30 to 80 or something, giving them a sweet spot just like the snipers, now they aren't SMGs with more bullets and a set up LMG is actually a high priority target.

Brad S Those numbers are not accurate. The actual stats are: 1911: 42 damage P08: 38 Damage I don't know why these stats are out like this, they are literally all wrong. The game itself gives accurate stats. 42x2= 84 38x2= 76. Till takes 3 shots for both.

Support really needs a buff that is what I am trying to say. I played support since I got the game and struggled to get any kills. I use the MG-15 and it is inaccurate, weak, and has a slow fire rate. I recently switched to scout and literally destroy everyone with that class. With Support my KD was generally around 1.5 per round or less, and with scout I easily score 4.0 per round.

The trouble with the 449 RPM guns is that you likely won't always hit your max ttk. While trying to track a moving enemy you likely won't manage to spam click quite that fast.

Boe Smith I honestly take med crate or rifle smoke grenades ~90% of the time, because when most people skip, they are more useful for PTFOing. I only take the syringe when I'm playing TDM or attacking on Operations. If they removed the skip mechanic, I would run syringe all the time. It's honestly more useful for killing Elite classes and campers than reviving rn.

I don't understand how you don't like the MARS Automatic... I know that its rate of fire is a bit slow, but it has that huge mag, a good reload, good hipfire, good damage, and it feels like it's by far the best sidearm to use at range (which can be awesome when you're at that range that's just short of where you want to use your bolt-action). Honestly, I find myself running around with the MARS and beating pretty much everything at close to medium range that isn't an Automatico or Model 10-A. I see so much praise for the M1911, but I honestly just don't feel it. I often burn through the mag without doing much, and I'm not sure what the problem is. I do agree that the auto revolver is a beast, though.

Yea I actually use the Mars with my Martini Henry. If they are super close more then the 35m I blast them with the martini due about 80 damage or more. Then fast switch to the Mars. One bullet and bam there dead. And if they get in range and I miss, I can still count on the Mars to switch two it. Two shots to the head dead, Three shots to the body dead and it has a big mag and fast rate of fire.

My favourite pistol is the mars on the recon class, it deals great damage at long range(for a pistol) it has decent accuracy, a medium clip size and a fast reload, not to mention the super clean iron sights and how badass it looks.

The Colt 1903 for all kits is decent. The thing you have to remember is the hipfire is far more effective than ADS so you have to train yourself to spam from the hip.

Well I already have 133 Kills with the P08 (Red Baron) and it's pretty good. Of course it's not as strong as OP M1911 but it's still good. But for me it took awhile to get kills with it.

As scout the ONLY hand gun I use is the Mars Automatic. 11 rounds in the magazine and it feels like a Deagle. I've wrecked so many players with this gun. Awesome sound too. Can't believe you didn't mention this.

Bobbie that's why there should be so many more than what's in the game, the whole world didn't use just the mp18. Ww1 was the dawn of all modern weaponry. Every country had their own weapons and that's not to mention all the prototype weaponry that was in development towards the end and during the war.

The Gasser Revolver for the Assault is a one shot headshot up to 30 m(1.8 multiplier X 57.4 damage on the graph at 30m= 103.32 , which means more the 100 health), at least according to the weapon graph on the companion

I love the repitorpistol 1912 for the support class the reload sucks if you have ammo left but if you empty the mag it's not too slow
