His dad's a drummer in a black metal band so he's familiar with the genre but still too young to be out here seeing nipples and murders and gore. But the right time will come. Plus no one except for me in my family listens to behemoth and black metal in general ...I myself started to listen to behemoth at 12 years old (now I'm 23) and without any "filter" on the brutal videos but it never scared me lol, on the contrary it used (and still does) to soothe me to sleep and ease my constant anxiety 😊 now I am really proud about my niece enjoying my same music although her father ( who is my brother) thinks I'm a bad influence on her and all that metal will make her grow into a psycho 😂 yeah yeah...I am nothing like that, I look like your ordinary next door girl and I'm more than mentally healthy

But I would NEVER trust any priest or church member or whatever to be around my kids or any children actually. Im 28 and something I want to teach them is that religion is the scum of the world. Christianism is a fucking disgrace to this world. Its pure hipocrisy. Since we live in a very religious country, mostly catholic, they have to understand that from a very early age. Im not raising stupid people and music is a very powerful tool, especially Behemoth lol

Pandemonic Incantations is a landmark on the style, and all the subsequent albums untill The Satanist could be labelad Blackened Death Metal. Extreme Metal is not exactly a genre but an " Umbrella term" that fits many extreme forms of metal, so Black Metal, and Death Metal fall under that definition.

Loved Behemoth and Carcass this year in Birmingham. Arch Enemy were cool but maybe should have been on another bill?.. didn't quite work. Unto others were cool though. Preety solid night. Loved the moth confetti. Wasn't expecting that at a black metal gig. A piece stick to my arm. A moth. It said "Are you OK?💜💜💜 Was crazy because I wasn't OK. I was literally in hospital with a chest infection 2 days before the gig. I was feeling very sick. Very low bur I was adamant I was gonna see this gig. I think I received the right msg at the right time. It spooked my gal though and she made me throw it away lol!!👹
