Yes Mark! Thank you for addressing the AI stuff. Absolutely recognizable every time. Your Dad is so unique. He, many times, has reached through time and space and connected with me, saying words of signs that im looking at. Or saying what I'm doing. He is very much still here. Thank you for continuing to give us stuff from him.

I will make up a word and say that the prototype information is being bible-ized in a stereotype function which always seems to be absent of the essence some feel in the bones as Alan says. What I say when I try to watch one or see a very improper title offering something improbable, I am probably going to comment, hey you don't have to sell it. I guess that it is good that some people who are not looking for various validations can recognize what a bunch of other folks probably ain't going to recognize when they click on a hollow promise then like and subscribe to something that they couldn't recognize for what it is or is not

@Dustinthewind607 some things make my internal dogs bark, some don't. The ai generated stuff, usually is noticed as something rather fake and hollow to myself. The ai generated vids typically offer some kind of promise that suggest that you will master something like getting rich , or being the best at whatever is being projected and advertised. I was having similar analysis as the other comments, but my presentation is rather what it is because not all things are always completely understandable

@Dustinthewind607 the hollow promise that I mentioned sets up a couple of scenarios, one being someone totally satisfied to involved in an egocentric practice of polar identity and trivia gathering for trivial affairs of information exchange which has no direct application of actions. The other is someone who probably has good intentions, but is trying to match good intentions with the above mentioned practice and will experience a failure and the real Alan watts would say, don't beat yourself up like that , success and failure are a paradox, not progress

Mark, you dad came to my life when I needed him the most. I am just a young female in my 30s , and English is not even my native language. But I found him when I had a mystical experience - what he said like a tons of knowledge downloading into my consciousness all of the sudden, it all makes sense. I do believe in the saying : when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. He guided my soul united with the universe. We’re all One. ❤

Thank you for commenting on the AI Alan Watts stuff out there that rings offbeat and for providing your perspective as well as context. I think it’s especially important coming from someone in his lineage who can speak of the familial soul. 🌀🙏🏻

Thanks for this. Through this medium Alan Watts will now be listened to for as long as humanity exists. That is a wonderful thing.

Oh… get ready for a proper Alan Watts AI. …. It will be able to answer based on the aggregated wisdom of all his speeches. Will it be the same, no. Will it be profound? Of course.

I am listening to alan talking about the vocation of zen being selected by a rigid structure which makes it kinda not zen, i am guessing that you share the knowledge of your father's wisdom by freedom of choice and this is appreciated
@LuisMauricio-c9e6 күн бұрын
really enjoyed this episode! Alan Watts always brings such a unique perspective. but I have to say, I’m not entirely sold on the idea that Zen can be fully understood through words alone. sometimes it feels like we're just skimming the surface of a much deeper experience. what do you all think?

💥 I'd like to know if the reality in Japan is still that described in this Alan Watts lecture. Probably it has changed over the decades, or are still japanese people not interested much in religion, Buddhism ? 😮😮😮

The AI stuff used to be easy to identify because it made me feel slightly nervous and tense which has never happened over the thousands of hours of AW lectures I've listened to since discovering KPFK in '88. But now, other than the audio being cleaned up (sterilized) it's getting harder to spot. I'm not into it. AI is not our friend!

Yep: i find it incredible that anyone could listen to any of the content in those "AI Alan" abominations and think "This speaks to me...". Most of it is just downright hostile; like the world's most despicable incels wrote a misanthropic manifesto and had AI Alan read it at gunpoint...
