Originally written by Pete Townshend of The Who and recorded in 1971. I will never forget the mesmerizing effect of that song - I have the same feeling hearing it now. Brilliant, emotional and as fluid as silk. Thank you for sharing your talent with us all.

No one knows what it's like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes And no one knows what it's like To be hated To be faded to telling only lies But my dreams they aren't as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance That's never free No one knows what its like To feel these feelings Like I do, and I blame you! No one bites back as hard On their anger None of my pain woe Can show through But my dreams they aren't as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance That's never free No one knows what its like To be mistreated, to be defeated Behind blue eyes No one know how to say That they're sorry and don't worry I'm not telling lies But my dreams they aren't as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance That's never free No one knows what its like To be the bad man, to be the sad man Behind blue eyes In the clouds All the graves I'll stay if you Go away Concrete Tall as the sky Movement passi'n me by When you blush What a rush Reminisce Cold crush Next door ear to the wall All the tension on me for the call I wish I wish I wish it was all that easy I wish I wish I wish it was all that easy

The simplest songs are often the best; love playing this song....but so perfectly executed. There are a couple of chords in this track that make it great I think...someone's put in their 10,000 hours (and has quite an ear for music). Keep posting and we'll keep listening....

Just watched this on KZbin for the second time today. It is beautiful, moving, and emotional. I remember listening to this song and singing along and playing this song on the guitar, both the original version and from Limp Bizkit. I have to admit that I came close to crying, yeah where's a pillow or someone, a friend or woman or girl that could hug me and reassure me that she's "here with me" and that "it's okay" & "you won't be alone forever", "you're special or loved" and so on, whenever I'm not in a good mood or I'm having a bad day, & I just want to get mad or angry 😡yell or scream or shout or kick, throw or punch something or someone or that I'm not hungry right now, I don't want to eat anyone's leftovers or even go anywhere or talk to anyone in person or on the phone, do anything to take my mind off of the bad stuff that is going on in the world or media or news today 😭🙂👍🙏👫🤵♂️👰♂️👩❤️👨💒👧❤♂️♀️🎸🎹🎤🎧🎚🎙📻📺🌎.
