I love this remake. Usually I think remakes aren't as good as the original, but this is just as amazing. The art has improved so much. The monster and father both look so much scarier. The way the father's head falls down when he dies is just super good animation! Incredible.

I loved this short film in 2009 and today you have made it even more beautiful. ❤️ This short reminds me a lot of a friend of mine who suffered heavy domestic violence, and with it also her brothers ... Luckily they saved themselves, and this short reminds me of it every time. Every time I look at it I get excited and I get goosebuft. I would very much like a series or even a film to be born from this. I add that a few years ago I wrote a story inspired by this short and I would very much like to be able to send it to you to some e-mail, Always if you are interested in it. ❤️

I remember watching the original when I was a little kid. I would binge all my favorite dark animated shorts and this was one was always there. Amazing remaster, this is stellar work! The hyperrealistic textures on the cartoon bodies adds to the surrealism and gives the air a much more uneasy feeling than before!
