why do these clips never show the most crucial part you have the gopro footage from the guy when he was fine and during the fall. WHY IS THERE NO CLIP OF THE START OF THE FALL face palm* its like if you have a video of a birthday, they have the clip from right before the kid blows the candles out, then they cut everyone cheering without the actual blowing out of the candles.

His guilty pleasure was golfing and he enjoyed watching pros on TV in big tournaments....when they shanked a shot or missed a putt, my brothers and sisters would crack up as he said “Hey, I can do that!” I miss my Dad....but as I participate in sports with my athlete daughters, I keep this saying in mind..😀

@the6ig6adwolf

Not always. In most cases a pitch that is less steep (between 32-38 degrees) will hold all the snow that falls on it which leads to very unstable snow pack where a steeper pitch like this (45-50 degrees) won't hold all the snow. Also temperature plays a large role, sudden raising and lowering will create weaker layers in the snowpack. For example a ski resort in Colorado might have varied temperatures over the course of a season where a ski hill in Alaska will remain fairly consistent.

I feel like I'm probably a rare person who can say I've done close to this, I've done this type of thing a few times but the worst time I bailed off a snowmobile and rolled 600~ foot down the side of a mountain (In a close race with the sled, it passed me, I passed it) first things first is to protect your head, I was wearing a full helmet, but still I tucked it in and got my hands up and around it, next is that you you want to barrel roll and not cart wheel, so you don't want any limbs extended, get your knees up on your chest and your elbows in.... Basically a fetal position. I wouldn't call it fun, and I'm always thinking about an avalanche coming down, the weirdest thing is that it happens in slow motion, at least the couple times I've done it
