Though I still definitely agree in the sense that with the right few songs in terms of mass appeal, he might get put in the top tiers of GOAT convo for his generation and quite possibly era.

You can hear in the music how much he loves his family and how much they mean to him but it’s completely different to see him interact with them. been puting people on JID ever since Never.....shocked at how many young people around here never even heard of him...some didn't even know Cole....and i stay in Macon Georgia....about an hour away from Atl...but when they hear JID they lose it...we got to start talking to our youth more....radio and most media outlets stuck on the most popular or viral.....or what ever they choose to feed u ....thanx JID ....u make Georgians and real hiphop headz everywhere proud....beautiful family....don't know bout yall but... I went to visit my fam in Covington, GA and saw my grandpa's house in bad shape. We used to own the whole lot and slowly overtime we lost it piece by piece as the owners passed away. Seeing JID do this was very powerful for me as it illustrates this full circle moment. Truly inspiring. I look to do the same for my fam one day. This was dope!

This is so amazing. Seeing his Mother and Father reminds me of my family. When his mom said that they spoke greatness over their children, that touched my heart. My grandma used turns of phrase like that when she was still around. You can feel the love like his dad said, you should feel it. Love of your family is a powerful thing.

Dude, everytime I am shocked by his low streaming numbers... Most artists get a hit song and the new fans have no previous discography to discover. It’s so sad he doesn’t get enough hype compared to what’s consider mainstream or popular. I never hear anyways say JID top five or oh you hear this new Jid song.
