Also, Lewis Hamilton best win percentage in his career was in 2020 with 64%. Schumacher best win percentage was 72%. Max's win percentage was 86% in 2023 which beat Ascari's 75 year 75% win percentage. Max's win percentage for 2022 and 2023 beats Lewis's single year win percentage in 2020. Max is 26yo with 3 WDC titles. Lewis at 26yo had only 1 WDC title. Lewis didn't get his 2nd WDC title till he turned 29yo.

@@Wheel-to-Wheel - There is no GOAT in F1.....only G.O.T.E-->Greatest Of Their Era. I have seen different rules and regulations applied in F1 since the 70's till current. I will say this, Max attacks his opponents on the track hence why he has a lion symbol on his helmet.....very Senna-esque.

You forgot to mention that Mclaren (Ron Dennis) bankrolled Lewis Hamilton at age 13 whereby Lewis's father didn't have to work multiple jobs to finance his karting at the time.

It is always difficult to compare drivers by the great actions they make. Is one overtake greater than the other ? Yes Lewis won more races but in Schumacher's time there where less races and maybe Lewis had better material on average and less competition. It is difficult to compare. It is easier to rank the drivers based on the mistakes they make, these are easier to notice. I have been following F1 for quite some time, but I tuned out between 2006 and 2016. But if you rank drivers based on the mistakes they make, I do not think Lewis is the GOAT based on what I have seen from him since 2017. Every season he makes mistake which cost him so many points. A few examples over the last years ; 2023 - driving into Russell, causing himself a DNF 2022 - driving into Alonso in Spa, , causing himself a DNF 2021 - in Baku, putting wrong settings on his steering wheel for the brake balance on the restart after Verstappen's flat tire, causing a zero points finish. There are many people saying Lewis is at the top of his game now. Well if he is now on the top of his game, with all the mistakes he makes. How can he be the GOAT. If I compare it to Verstappen over the last three years. I think he is better as he makes less mistakes.

i don't think hamilton is nearly as dominant in the last 3 seasons as he has been over the past decade - totally agree with you there. age is a real factor in this sport and I think he's on the decline. still, his championship counts are hard to deny. in 10 years, Verstappen may be the GOAT, but for now, hamilton is still up there.

Maybe focus on getting your English right before trying to slander people because you look silly. Nobody gets 7 wdc’s and works their way to f1 by just luck or chance. He drove ragtag karts to championships and almost won his first wdc in his rookie season. He’s been good since he was a child that’s how he got there. He didn’t buy his way in and on top of that there’s discrimination to factor in so there’s people who probably didn’t want him there or dismissed him to start with. They couldn’t dismiss him because he was just too damn good. Racists cant deny raw skill and talent. Someone has to drive the car. It’s not like the car does all the work. He’s a good driver and one of the best. Period. Unless you can lay down 7 championships you have zero points to go off of. You’re just hating and have zero idea what you’re talking about. Mercedes failed to deliver for Hamilton on so many levels. Niki Lauda had to make superb presentations to the Daimler Benz overlord board of directors, to convince them of Hamilton's potential, because they never wanted him. That negative attitude towards Hamilton has continued with them refusing him at the end of his racing career, a 10 year ambassador role folowing in the footsteps of Mercedes Benz driving legends, Juan Manuel Fangio and (a Hamilton mentor), Sir Stirling Moss. They failed to support Hamilton over the 2021 Abu Dhabi debacle robbing him of a deserved 8th F1 GP WDC TITLE. Mercedes also didn't give Hamilton the long-term contract he'd earned over 10 years loyalty. (Opting instead for a 1 × 1 contract which ironically Hamilton is now using to get out of that contract) They failed to get the engineers to listen to Hamilton's input until it was too late. They didn't offer a never greedy Hamilton $100 Million p.a. earnings that Ferrari are now giving him. . . Hamilton is such an important global brand, that the announcement of him joining Ferrari put 4 billion on their market stock value. They are going to sell a lot of cars . . . Toto Wolff must be feeling devasted, as Mercedes have now lost that international earning potential with the loss of a 7xF1 GP WDC TITLE WINNER. Hamilton has nothing to prove and can end his racing career with every racing driver's dream of racing for the most famous 'Prancing Horse' team.
