I saw this great show recently and I was amazed by the actors also playing musical instruments. I haven’t seen this film but it didn’t make any difference. This was our first West End show since February 2020 and it feels fantastic to be back!!!

I loved the interview and exclusive images of rehearsals! But just wondering why you would announce a live performance and then play the album version over the video :(

I know, it's really weird how they try to manipulate the audio to make it sound like it was live, even though there were only 13 of the present musicians on the cast recording and you can CLEARLY see the other 3 musicians playing and not being heard(Like the guy playing the Snare Drum with Brushes at 22:16 especially!). :( One possibly explanation I can guess for this, hear me out, is that the live audio is EXCLUSIVELY for "SkyVIP users"( 19:33 , also look at the top right corner of the screen below the star), like you have to log in and/or view it directly from their website, but I don't really know to be honest.

@@MsClelia Nope, I checked those already, and it's still the same audio being edited to sound a half note lower(like how some people who post movie clips on KZbin manipulate the audio so it sounds and half note higher to avoid Copyright restrictions/claims. Could be for the copyright issue, or the technical issue:. Live recording of a show with satisfying quality might be quite difficult to produce. Just a thought of a semi-insider of the business.
