WTF!!! Buried them alive underground! And then they dug themselves out! This is just an outrageous story but I’m glad to hear they are able to tell their stories years later. I can’t even fathom the psychological impact.

Only some of us were able to tell our account of the events. And some of us were never asked. I have already talked about some ofbitbin Facebook post and some of us were taken again by other adults to keep us from talking. This was just a small part of what happened, watch the stuff on the billion dollar boys club and that is another part of it, a plane crash after a school debate, and then you get in to the stuff they show in McCarthy Alaska and Alaskan bush people. And then ........................ . ........... ... .. . I want to be sick.

Twenty-eight hours. The whole ordeal took 28 hours, which means it was at least that long before they could feel safe again. How can you not be haunted by such an experience?

I was 13 when this happened. I walked to school after this for awhile. Thank God they were exceptionally stupid and that bus driver and those kids were so brave and strong.

@@ItsKerrrry I wouldn't let my kids, especially my daughters, walk to school when they were young because of the abductions. It's sad that you can't let your kids out of your sight anymore. I think the younger generation grew up with anxious parents and that's why so many young people struggle with anxiety. We taught you to be afraid to try to keep you safe. In hindsight, we could have done better.

My son was born in 1976. I cannot imagine the parents living through this horror. I would find a way to hurt the 3 of them. You hurt a child you should suffer. Big time.

Fred Woods should NEVER be paroled. He has no remorse and obviously been living well in prison running various businesses and profiting. These kids, now adults and their bus driver and all their families deserve far more.

Any one with that mindset should spend the rest of their life in prison - I mean think about it if they didn't dig themselves out he would be a mass murderer and he didn't care just left them. Children of all ages. How evil is he. Like as evil as any1 that killed 26 Children and one adult - Im sure there is evil like that going on all the time serial killers. This guy is an almost mass murderer who knows what he would have done had him and the two idiot brothers didn't get caught.

The three were very stupid. They left copies of the whole plan and ransom notes at the house with fingerprints on them. You'd think as soon as the plan failed, they would get rid of the evidence.

It's interesting that they put these kids in an underground cell for about 24 hours, and in return they themselves were put in an above ground cell for almost 50 years. Didn't work out so well for them.
