Enjoyment is so indian word. He was trying to say he wants to have fun and be happy playing rather go down the rabbit hole. I wonder if that is holding him back from going to super GM level. He was the india's highest rated junior in 2019 and one the experts were most optimistic around(back then comps were just with Pragg. Gukesh and Arjun were not that highly rated or visible back then)

Nihal reminds me of me if I was successful at chess, similar age, similar backgrounds, started chess at the same time, but I got stuck at 1500 since I didn't want to learn (openings, endgames) in depth, but I'm really good at bullet.

Appoint a chess teacher or enrol him into a chess academy. He is at the ripe age of 5 and if he performs good, he has High chances of being a grandmaster. Once he surpasses 15, it’s hard to become grandmaster.
