They literally did before the game. Vlatko expects her to hopefully be ready for the olympics. Tobin is much closer to return and able to do training.

I think the USWNT needs to overhaul its current roster because there's no rhythm or creativity amongst the players when they are near the box. I propose that they conduct an open competition to find the best skillful U.S. player. This competition would assess their ball skills, defense, creativity, and speed, which would allow the coaches to assign the best player for that position. This will root out some of the stagnation and lack of rhythm amongst the players because everyone can't be a prolific goal scorer. The USWNT needs role players who can set up their forwards to score. If you watch the game, you will notice that some of the players are not skillful enough to set up Alex Morgan or Christian Press when they are making their runs or in the box, which will cost the team when they are in the Olympics.
