The Costa Rica match was a disappointment from an attacking/finishing standpoint. Yes, it's a friendly/tune-up match, but the objective is still to score and win, and as in the World Cup, no one stepped up. So 1 goal in 180 minutes against Mexico and Costa Rica. I hope they've had some great sessions with Coach Hayes, who oversees training in the final third, and are (as the 99ers would be) absolutely hungry and a bit pissed off at being shut out at home. Time to take it out on Zambia. LFG.

That CR match was exactly what they needed, in hindsight, because Australia and Japan. And where are those teams now? Going home from France!
