This is actually really interesting! Especially, how they add and remove temporary lighting during the middle of cutscenes to reduce shadows / highlight an object for that particular angle, like when Michael's taking the cash from the vault or when Trevor takes the woman hostage, and how the getaway-driver-shot cutscene takes place all over the road, yet I never noticed any jumps or cuts myself when playing this mission several times. It really has been produced just like a movie.

I'm usually pretty genned up on the mechanics of this game, I usually already know certain stuff like this, but I had never even realized the scene lighting during cutscenes was literally a temporary lighting placement around the scene. This is a really nice demonstration of how it works. One tip on the video though, perhaps next time better labels on the individual videos so we know what's going on where? It's a little hard to focus on four camera angles at once. Either way, I really enjoyed this. Nice job!

Julian Jimmerson When magazine changes are done or textures get changed and they don't get updated in story mode cutscenes the game doesn't know what to do so it completely removes the sprite. That's what happened there

I'm not a RockStar's fanboy. I have a lot of criticism for them. But that makes sense. RS have something a lot of game companies don't. They don't record a clip for their cut scenes. What you see. Is what you get. They scripting the actually characters in a live game for the cut scenes. Now here's a problem. They need to cut all unnecessary objects to ease up the CPU and GPU for low and mid range machines. More objects stayed in the cut scenes = More objects the GPU and CPU need to process. So it makes sense when you think about it in this way.

I’m pretty sure that Dave was supposed to kill Trevor but since brad went in front of him, he ended up dying. This mission is very important to gta 5 storyline because if dave killed Trevor, we would of course never be able to control him and then the 3rd protagonist maybe would’ve been brad but who knows 🤷🏼‍♂️
