Brett Carter If she was lazy and had no goals in life, she would have been content with sitting around, doing nothing and living off her mom’s money (Which is exactly what her brother Robb does😂) but instead she chose to pursue her passion for makeup and started a successful business. I am not an avid follower or fan of the Kardashians but I do love make up and Kylie’s products are really good. People wouldn’t keep buying her products if it wasn’t. I think she’s doing an amazing job with her make up line and deserves all the success she has received.

Yammi she was on a major show since birth essentially, she wasn’t the only one building her empire, she had no intention of building it and made no effort to get the immense amount of fans she got at an early age for just existing on that show. Yammi the problem isn’t whether she’s deserving or not, I didn’t say she’s undeserving, the problem is with Forbes the (money magazine) emphasizing she’s self made, when like it says in the magazines title right next to it, it’s actually not that, it’s actually completely “extreme fame leverage” which 99.999% if the population don’t have compared to her and her start. and before even going into business she had all the financial and personal credibility backing she needed. The problem is people like me and other entrepreneurs getting upset with them pushing the “self made” garbage, when the only thing that’s self made was her decision to do something, and her having opinions on her products and how she wanted her line to be. There was zero difficulty, and actual self made people would have a ridiculously hard to impossible time achieving the revenue she has because of the Kardashian brand and “extreme fame leverage” being the face of a makeup line as a member of the Kardashian’s. It’s all about marketing which she was given being in her position. Disagree with me? I’m sure you’d even find it hard to picture her a few years ago at less than 6 digits of followers being in that family, she’d have to try really hard to keep her follower number at 5 figures or less being one of the 5 females in that family, and that’s not normal or self made, it came with the environment

What does it matter to you that I have an opinion about something that isn't right? I think if you have to make a list for the public, it has to be the right fact that you get. I dont think you can compare Kylie Jenner to Mark Zuckerberg. And yes, I do not think that it is fair that Kylie should take the spot, from a true "self-made" billionaire, who really deserves the credit, and is a role model for the rest of us, who isn't borned rich AF and had her sister doing the dirty work. As stated in a lot of the comments, she's not self-made seeing as she was basically born into fortune, and already had prior connections and associates with people who knew how to get her to the top. Ya'll, just because she came from money didnt mean Kylie Cosmetics was a guaranteed hit. She said that in the beginning it was just her selling 3 lipsticks, without her mums help, and was worried it wasnt going to sell. Her cosmetics could have easily flopped. The Kardashians have done cosmetics before and most of that flopped/no longer sells. Kylie knew her brand, knew why people followed her, knew her lips were a huge marquee for her, and knew how to turn it into a product that would sell. So she may have had advantages others dont have, doesn't take away that making a billion dollar company isnt easy. Its not like she started with a billion dollars. She still had to earn it.
