NICE... I have a 68 GTO HO 4 spd in the same color combo Code D with Parchment redlines and rally II's. I bought it because the color combo.

Your story made me smile as I had similar experiences with my gto. I've had mine 42 years, moved the antenna to the rear quarter and replaced the dash insert with real wood. Happy motoring. Allen, Las Vegas.

Steve I just stumbled across this video. I have lived on the east coast of Florida most of my life and owned the twin to your car. I also showed mine at the GTOAA back in 1991 and took first place in restored class (back when only one car could be the top car). Mine was also Warwick Blue with Parchment interior, 400 and 4 speed. I was the second owner and bought the car with only 50k miles on it. It was all original numbers matching car. It was featured in Muscle Car Review. I sold it in the mid 90s to a collector in Canada. I also owned a 69 Lemans in Warwick Blue with medium Blue interior. These days I have a 68 RA II 4 speed GTO Midnight Green with Black interior 1of 199 built, a 67 GTO 400 HO two tone car Plum Mist with Parchment interior, and a 68 Tempest in factory colors of Meridian Turquoise and Aqua interior.
