Exactly! The voice director needs to either tell her to perform in her regular voice tone, or tell post-production not to tweak it. Rogue sounds a bit weird so far in X'97, so hopefully the kinks can get worked out.

What a delight and compassionate person, very much different watching the X-Men 20+ years ago and always wanting to see the voice behind the characters. Thankfully now we get to experience a bit more of the cast and can show our appreciation for what they do. Goes without saying the X-Men, and cast, have changed our culture for the better. Without the show we would have never had the X-Men FOX, Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios, Disney would've probably never bought Marvel and movie studios would've never given comic movies a shot.

@@notfakemaine1431 Much appreciated. I feel like X-Men was deeper, it delved in so many dynamics. The loss of a team was traumatic. People really hated Cyclops for leaving Morph and Beast. More would have died if he didn't. Storm who was second in command said they had to go. Cyclops was most effective when it came to destroying the Sentinels. It was a hard choice. I wasn't that traumatized but was prepared when I saw Optimus prime died in the 80s cartoon movie. X-Men was more like a soap opera than a cartoon, It was more realistic to me.

What's weird I found is that Rogue sounded almost completely different in X-Men 97, which I thought was because it was 30 years later.. but then in this interview she sounds closer to 90s Rogue even talking naturally than she did in most of 97! Maybe it was the voice direction?

They should've gotten Cedric Smith back to play Professor Xavier (he's still active in the voiceover business in Canada). Problem is this: Catherine Disher is his ex-wife and she's in the cast, but not in her former role of Jean Grey, but as Dr. Val Cooper. They might've been afraid of a potential clash. He's MILES ahead of their in-house Richard Little, Ross Marquand, who's playing Xavier.
