This is the one watch that resonates to my taste the most, as a person obsessed with symmetry, this one hits all the marks. Visually sold, it has an interesting invention attached to it in regards to the movement which is a plus.

My local watchmaker that services all my watches always tells me there is only one problem that needs to be solved to get a perfect timekeeper - making the force as constant as possible, and that is exactly what they did here!! It's impressive they did it without the chain or snail sistem

Very nice that Armin Storm have machine that makes 90% of their watches parts.
@arminstrom
@arminstrom 4 жыл бұрын
Dear Mena, thank you for your comment. You are right we are using CNC and other machines to cut the pieces out of the raw material. But we invest a lot of time and emotion after into the decoration of our movements. Thanks to the finger touch of our watchmakers, each piece receives its personal note. Embellishing all parts of a movement makes every Armin Strom watch akin to a hand-crafted piece of jewelry, edges of plates, bridges and levers are perfectly chamfered or, as the watchmakers call it, beveled. For the classic finishing such as the Geneva stripes or the Perlage we are using traditional machines for grinding patterns onto the pieces. We do not compromise when it comes to the decoration of our watches. We strive for technical and esthetical perfection, and are proud of the production depth in our manufactory as well as of the sensibility and craftsmanship of our collaborators.

An interesting looking watch which is not over crowded like other skeleton watches but I believe could do with a touch of color on certain parts anodising or coating too much stainless steel inside.Then again that's my opinion everyone has different taste.

Make a aus or german forg high iron mix w a little chromium for bracelet, very flat links, w tiny screws holding it together, need loctite on screws, then sandpaper, may as well had a threaded rod to lock it on ur wrist, so in other words need a tool to take on and off, had enough surface area of threads w high % iron so the threads grip enough so no chance of coming off.

good quality timepieces but they should work more on design > I don't like the architecture - from 1 side it want look modern but some parts are 'classic' which doesn't work for me .. other thing is that the dial should be on the right side of 'watch face' because it's more practical and easier to read.

Each day, pay tax at local tax office w tap n go, and pay each worker at end of day, reg their name w post office, if post office refuse, then say the tax man won't get it the coin, they 'll change their tune pretty quick. t

The finishing of these watches on show here in this video looked slightly below par on the outer casing and on the extreme close up shots shown of the watches. For the prices they are asking for them, there are some more practical watches including the finishing for around their price, including a few in house watches. In all I don't think they are quite competitive enough at the moment for the money, or the complications that a few brands can sell at around their price. I will also take my fine GS spring drive gmt chronographs for their price, over these watches any day of the week, while also my GS's are also better daily wear watches, including their having complications too. A JLC would be a better buy for example, not to mention some other brands of similar ilk etc. Even iwc can make a watch at this armin strom price bracket. There are quite a few brands that will be a better deal with the quality expected of such watches, including the history and the heritage of such brands. There are too many decent watches at this price range, including taking in some high quality used buy watches, that can put some higher price point quality watches into the mix. The watch market including some quality is already a very populated area. Also I think that a glasshute original would be a better option also, possibly also a used lange. There are really too many decent watches already to name.
