Such an amazing video for one of the best, underrated indies. The fact that they make 98% of their watches in-house is beyond impressive and goes far and beyond the standard in swiss watch making. The interesting thing today is that there are several ways how to get in touch with a timepiece. The configurator allows you to learn about our timepieces and also personalize them before or after your visit at one of our retailers. But we completely agree with you, to have the watch at the wrist is still the most exciting moment :)

Glad you like it! Well, having in-house capabilities with manufacturing and development helps and also pricing often depend on brand positioning. Often watch brands price their watches high just because they can, there often isn´t reason behind it. Regarding the "upcoming watch" its coming again next week. Had a few troubles sourcing watches as you can imagine during these times :). Also reviews which are made in partnership with a brand I want to keep focused on them only. Hope you understand :)

@@SwissWatchGang Makes sense. Would you say the finishing is on par with many of the brands at that price point? Better? Worse? From a naive outsider looking into the brand and their offerings (and their marketing material), I get a sense of machine made, some human interaction, highly technical, futuristic design driven. Whereas other brands of similar price point are going for the heritage, classic watchmaking with more human interaction (though probably not true ;)). Thoughts?

Also, as another note regarding hacking seconds. Some watch makers like fpj don't like the hacking feature because you're essentially hammering the balance wheel to get it to stop and they argue this causes unnecessary wear and tear on the movement. Not sure the accuracy of this though...

@@theJade thanks for your questions and your interest in our brand. When it comes to the decoration you can compare us with the big players in the industry. We invest a lot of time into the finishing of our movements. All parts in our watches are hand decorated, you can discover some shots on our Instagram profile. For sure we are using some old machines for the geneva stripes or the perlage but this is comon in the industry. For the fabrication we are using CNC machine in order to create our screws, pinions, wheels etc. If you switch to our KZbin chanel you can discover what we are doing in our manufacture video.

@@theJade in our case the stop-second does not directly hammer on the balance wheel. We have the "arrete balancier" which works like a brake and also absorbes a lot of the shocks. During our intense testings we have not seen any negative impact on the movement of the Gravity Equal Force.

This is what horology is all about in my opinion an amalgam between engineering, craftsmanship and art made under one roof. Not some outsourced hodgepodge where you slap a logo on the dial market the hell out of it and sell it for silly money like some sort of snake oil salesmen. These watches are stunning, mechanically as well as aesthetically. I like how the rotor is situated on the front and how the power indicator sits on top of the barrel very subtle, i didn't even notice it before it was pointed out. I never really liked big intrusive power reserve indicators.
