Hi Cindy this is my second viewing, im so glad you played Try It Out By Gino Soccio. I have mostly all his albums & singles. His music has been so underated in the U.S. On the LP version the trumpet player went to town on the trumpet solo of Try It Out! But it was so touching to hear other musicians play GINO SOCCIO 🎵 music. Also on The Brothers Johnson video I loved that bass you played. I have the 45RPM of STOMP I've had it when song was played on SOUL TRAIN in 1980. Rock & soul and Disco I like your style. 🎸🎶🎵🎹🎺

Thank you so much Harold, the trumpet player on Gino is Roger Walls, a phenomenal player! With my band we played also Dancer in a tribute to Canadian disco music writers a few years ago (kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5CbfmaejrKKaaM) Thank you for watching my other video as well, as you can tell I am a big disco/funk lover too!!! Nice meeting you here 🤩

First and foremost, a magnificent cover. Second, Gino Socio picked Erma Shaw as the ideal vocalist to perform the song's primary vocals and give the music an R&B flavour, which garnered him a great deal of critical acclaim.

@BoogieCindy4 жыл бұрын
