I have a slight suggestion to try that I do when playing the main pattern I alternate by playing an open E and hammering on to the low F# on the E string ( E-E-F# ) Like I'll start the pattern on the D string the regular way but when I come back round the 2nd time, I'll play with the open E to the F# it gives it a lil' more kick and also when doing licks & fills it's easier to go back to the pattern using the open E So, try seeing if it works on the 1st or 2nd pattern, sometimes I get lazy and do it all the time 🤣 Experiment and let me know if it works for ya 🕊 🖖🏿
