Gareth Edwards is fantastic at showcasing scale and making the camera work feel real and grounded, without using cheap tricks. It's clear he's great to work with, especially given his background in VFX, which helps him understand the process and capture the best shots. This really stands out, especially in Rogue One, where he kept the camera work realistic and avoided any over-the-top CG camera moves.

They actually created the entire thing, every minute detail. That’s impressive 😮

This movie looked so much better than the last few Marvel and Star Wars projects on a fraction of the budget.

I rooted for The Creator to win the 96th Oscar visual effect
Maybe not the right forum but I have a question. I bought the book "Industrial Light & Magic the Art of Special Effects" back in the late 80th when you celebrated like 10 years. Ten years later I've got the book "Industrial Light & Magic: Into the Digital Realm" and then in like 2011 the book "Industrial Light & Magic: The Art of Innovation". Is there any new book in the making that you know of or that I've missed? Keep up the good work. Lifetime fan. And greetings from Sweden!

Visually spectacular. Storywise that thing was a hard pill to swallow. Still a good movie though ... Even with the continuity and writing staff on shrooms ;) Thanks for the hard work ILM
