My daughter's pastor preached recently about this same thing - now they have protests, death threats, and they're calling for him to lose his job (he works at the local college - he doesn't take large salary from the church). If all churches were fully Bible believing, bold, and unyielding to our culture... this never would happen.

This sermon was dead on in relating truth in regards to my daughter. She has been called by Him at an early age but walks no longer with Him. She has chosen to walk in life as a homosexual and plans to marry her partner. My prayers for her cry out to the Holy God that He would not give her up to her sin but to call her forth, to turn from her sin and LIVE. Come forth oh daughter of Zion, turn and live.

Once churches in my state lifted mask mandates, I started going back to my home church, even though the senior pastor took the summer off to go to Disney and the sermons seemed like they had changed.. or maybe I had grown up a lot.. all of the sudden they felt guarded.. safe.. general. I kept thinking about the "lukewarm" church in my head. Our most recent sermon started off with one verse and never went to any other..in revolved around "making better choices" and the pastor used a lot of charismatic type words. I kept telling myself in my head that maybe I was looking into things too much, until this following Sunday, when they played an ad in their announcements that spoke of open borders, mixed cultures and how we needed to make our faith more relevant.. palatable. In that moment, my answer about whether I should continue to attend there was answered because my child turned his head to me upon hearing this statement, and looking completely bewildered, mouthed "really?".. as sad as it was to have my question answered, it was amazing to see my child recognize the same thing in the same moment without guidance. We don't need to change anything about the gospel..its exactly what every man's heart needs.

Run don't walk to a Bible teaching church and don't stop visiting until you find one. If you cannot find one, open your home and listen to one of many Bible teaching Pastors that are still on. Just to name a few: Jack Hibbs, Tom Hughes, Dr David Jeremiah, Dr Jeffress (First Baptist Dallas), Pastor John Hagee, Cornerstone Chapel (it's in an Southern state, I think TN but not sure.) best wishes.

@@suem5213 Massachusetts is ranked as one of the least church attending states in the nation.. I dont know anyone who goes... or any church that is different than the one I just left.. besides reading the Bible daily, I attend jack hibbs and allan jackson ministries but its not the same. My heart longs to be around other believers that understand whats ahead.. If I could, I would write an email to the pastor directly to voice my concerns.. but Ive tried emails a couple times in the past when I had other questions and they were ignored. In the beginning, when pastor jack called out to other churches to open, I shared the sermon on my church's page, but i was ignored again, and the visitor post option on my church's Facebook page was removed shortly after I shared it there. Its a sad thing to see.

I will keep praying because shepherds of churches are going to answer for their false teachings and making sin look like “No Problem”. This is the true work of God’s Spirit, I pray for my childhood abusers. I want them to know Jesus and be forgiven. Jesus said to love your enemies and do good to those who hate you.
