Behind the Mask with Lara Elize Lamigo-Itao

In this episode of our #RITMBehindTheMask series, we get to know Ms. Lara Elize Lamigo-Itao of the Storage and Distribution Department of the RITM Biologicals Manufacturing Division and her key role in the National Immunization Program of the Philippines.
A pharmacist by profession, Ms. Itao is also involved in the vaccine research efforts of the Institute. Her research interest particularly focuses on clinical safety and efficacy of anti-venom. Earlier this year, Ms. Itao discussed the importance of snake anti-venoms to snakebite envenoming in the 7th BioLogistics World Asia and Clinical Trials Festival Asia held in Singapore, as she became one of the Institute's representatives to the prestigious event.
