LBL is the oldest of the five Monuments on the European professional road cycling calendar and is renowned for its gruelling course around the Belgian cities of Liège and Bastogne, taking in some of the most beautiful and challenging stretches of the Ardennes.
Greeted by typical April weather, it was once again a test for man and machine. Working closely with the team, we were able to join the riders, mechanics and management in the days leading up to the event and over the weekend to get a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes as they prepare for one of the one-day classics. With temperatures of 2°C at the start, remaining at a chilly 6°C during the race, the already gruelling 254km through the Ardennes was a fitting stage in the Monuments season.
Sit back and take a look at what it takes to get the 'show on the road' and how the team performed in this famous spring classic.
We would like to thank Team Bahrain Victorious for their support in creating this video and look forward to an exciting summer season.
