This has got to be the stupidest, most contrived thru axle system I've ever seen. But hey, why go with something simple if you can just as well make it unnecessarily complicated, right? 🙄

Still using my big nine I bought in 2012, honestly it's done so many miles. Hardly any maintenance on the bike as well considering it's 12 years old. Been used in all weathers from hot summers to cold snowing winters. It's been using to ride down stairs many times, it's also fell off a really steep hill almost like a cliff with me on it 😂 the bikes amazing

Im looking at a 160 because i race enduro. But i have a tight budget and will only be able to afford one bike. I was just wondering in the 160 was still playful and agile enough at slower speeds and on less steep trails which are tighter and twistier.
@MERIDABIKES-INT18 күн бұрын
Hi, if you feel the ONE-FORTY might not have enough suspension travel, it might be worth sizing down the frame of the ONE-SIXTY you choose so that it feels more agile - that should be easily possible thanks to our AGILOMETER sizing system - you might find this video that explains it useful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5OViKqllNehb5I Regards, MERIDA

Is the big nine double better as a commuter bike mainly on paved roads as well?
@MERIDABIKES-INT18 күн бұрын
Hi, the SILEX might be a better choice of the two, as it has higher gearing than even a BIG.NINE with a double chainset and a more efficienct/aerodynamic riding position, but the choice is up to you! Regards, MERIDA

Hi, i was just wondering what happens if you undo the bolts left and right of it as i undid them because i thought that was the bolt but after looking at this video i realised it wasn't so i did them up and try doing the other bolt but the rope just keeps slipping through and not moving? Any tips?

Great video 👍🏻 I got my first MTB in 1988 when I was 9 - it was an Apollo Atomic and looked just like the older bike in this video😊 I now have a son and we are both riding eBikes - Trek Rails and we also have a Hard Tail each, mine is a Merida Big Tail 500. These are great bikes and it’s amazing how far the industry has come!

Good afternoon, back in 2005-2006 I bought myself a merida poni bicycle, I used it for its intended purpose for a very long time, but an unpleasant situation happened: the rear fork at the base of the pedals fell apart, they welded it several times, but this is not enough for a long time, now my daughter is using the bicycle , so to the heart of the matter, is it possible to purchase a rear fork? Otherwise, because of this part, the entire bike is not suitable for use.

Video was very helpful. As a 2020 One-Sixty owner i had no idea what the hell when an 875 owner rocked up at my shop the other day and had another charging port. Merida switched their OEM battery on these models which is fine with me as as shimano at the moment is in parts supply hell. Pro:tip the the initial upward push on the catch can be really stiff, but just force it, then press the secondary lever and falls out. Peace. HGRWORSHOP

Dear Merida, do you have any plans to update the Endurance frameset next year, similar to what happened to Silex from 2024? I wonder if it's worth buying a new bike now or consider waiting for a potential geometry update next year :-)
