First visit to the tower with a 7 and 5 year old. We got there for opening and went straight to the Crown Jewels exhibition. Later on there was a huge queue so I would suggest getting there early. I highly recommend that use the Hop on-Hop off Bus to travel to the Tower of London, using your one day free pass or book a taxi with waterloocars.co.uk best in town

they did for the 22 years they were in the military, which is a prerequisite for joining the yeoman warders.

No , they need a minimum of 22 years unblemished service (having an LSGC medal is a good start although not mandatory) and to hold the rank of sergeant major and up to join the yeoman guard although a very select few are invited to join. As I understand it they are the only restrictions they have
