Evanna was actually in hospital with an eating disorder and she wrote to JK Rowling telling her how much she loved Luna and wanted to play her in the film series’s. JK wrote back saying “if you work your very best too get over your eating disorder and get better and healthy by all means come and audition!” Evanna listened got over her eating disorder auditioned and got the part I just find that so cute🥺

Watching this after reading Evanna's book 'The Opposite Of Butterfly Hunting'. She went through a lot at that time and she made her dream come true. 😊 She adored Luna so much. I was so happy for her. 😊 The perfect Luna. ❤️ Anyway I can't tell how much tears I'd cried when I read her story. 😭 Sometimes it was so heartbreaking and painful to imagine what life struggles she had to face. The most memorable Luna-moment was near the end of "Order of the Phoenix", when she calmly tries to recollect all the things that have "disappeared" - quite obviously stolen by her bullying classmates - and suddenly Harry's teenage I-am-the-center-of-the-world-an-no-one-understands-me-bubble bursts whith the understanding that everybody has some kind of hardship to fight, not only The Chosen One. Best coming-of-age moment in this coming-of-age-book. That is my personal opinion, feel free to disagree.

Evanna is a great actress, she’s Irish but she put on a British accent (and if u listen to her in the movies and her in the interviews it sounds a little different cause of her accent) her voice is so calming and she generally is such a great actress and she’s beautiful 🤩 Luna is such a unique person/character and Evanna really did bring that to life. Like she came into the auditions knowing that she IS Luna. And being like “I am Luna and I know if you pick someone else that’s fine but I know your wrong”. I really really do admire Evanna’s determination, she’s determined to make the best in life and I love her so much. Luna isn’t someone who freaks out easily like even the worst situations she still has her calm and charming voice. Luna isn’t someone who brags about bad things happening to her (for example: watching your mother die from a failed science experiment at the age of nine) she really is so bright and smart and unique. People talk about “oh Ron’s my fav character or dobby or hermione or Harry or Draco or Fred or George or Ginny ect.” But mine is Luna and I’m not trying to put hate on any other characters at all. I also think we can all agree that everyone needs a Luna in their life. Luna’s fashion sense is also so great 😀. Evanna lynch inspires me Ames she amazing. I love Evanna and Luna so much ❤️ Luna is very weird, in a good way and Evanna lynch really did bring that to life.
