That scale is actually is fixed, don't believe those weights on those diamond, especially in the NYC diamond district... Most diamonds district scales are fixed, I would know first hand.

Looks like we need to become a diamond detective and bring my own scale next time I'm in the diamond district! wait this is my own scale, and the city test it and inspects it on a regulare basis. and all big diamonds are certified with official documents.
