As an avgeek, the fearless flyer I can relate to everytime tbf. For me I hate turbulence. Just the feeling of your stomach dropping is horrible sometimes. Absolutely love flying and cant get enough of planes but still I get a buzz everytime I step onboard

I actually cheered and clapped for everyone. Round of applause! Flying is scary. I have been on at least 70 or 80 flights (honestly, I quit keeping track) and always get nervous about landings... every time. My hands always sweat for some reason.

It’s the take off for me, worse part my first flight was on a narrow body and I was sitting on the 2nd last seat, it was so steep and unreal

In terms of pollution by the whole airline industry let's remember that fewer than 20% of the world's population actually have flown. One look at FlightRadar shows exactly where the most airline traffic is at around the Globe. The African continent with a large portion of the world's population has only a tiny percentage of air traffic. The Airline Industry exists mainly in the wealthier European, American, Middle Eastern and East Asian/Australian markets. This is a major contribution to the over tourism which is having a huge impact on these areas due to increased air pollution and environmental damage as a result of emissions. Airlines like Ryanair do not pay any tax on their fuel which most governments allow so as to protect their economies especially the tourism industry.

I strongly dislike the notion that “everyone knows the routine” at the airport. Some of us don’t fly more than once or twice a decade-and getting there only to find that the process isn’t marked well is frustrating. When there are (for instance) 3 or 4 lines for the security check how in the world am I supposed to know which one to get into if the signs are cryptic?

Also, if you're not white, this adds ANOTHER layer of complexity, depending on which airports you are using.

The problem isn't that the process isn't well marked. It's that the process changes randomly. Especially when agencies like the US TSA get involved. Even regular travelers have issues because the process can be different, even between two different parts of the same terminal.

I find it quite pathetic how you don’t even decide to show the maintenance side of aircraft, because that is crucially important for the operation of an airline. If something breaks down, who’s gonna come and fix that, so just a suggestion for next time.

It's just like bar codes that you can use in shops but can automated system detect bombs drugs guns knives etc. If you can drive or someone else does for you this is a great job for high functionaspergers I've got other mental health very very serious issues apart from autism but I annoy folks as I miss nothing . I just can't click with people

How about the pollution. How many dreamliners need to be in the sky to cover the CO2 of a 1.2L engine car? Looking forward for a vid about this...
@sameebah
@sameebah 21 күн бұрын
You do realise that computer servers now produce more CO2 than the entire aviation industry each year? Will you stop using the internet in order to reduce the output?
@mnshp7548
@mnshp7548 21 күн бұрын
have you ever done any research ? a jet engine does make a lot of CO2 (which isn't all that bad and defiantly not the worst greenhouse gas) but flying on a 787 is around 100mpg per passenger, so truly, double the efficiency compared to cars if not triple in most cases, save yourself some co2, walk to the airport next time.

@@sameebah no will not. But why am I asked to drive less and not use the gas stove if we can't as the airliness to flight their planes? Get a life outside your office.

You are complaining about an industry that is responsible for 2% of the world polution. How about we tackcle the other 98% before? How about meat, petrol cars, termoelectrics, industry and so many other industries that are MORE pollutant? this flight shaming is ridiculous, most people can't reduce their carbon footprint a tiny bit but will gladly jump at complaining about airplanes. Eliminate planes? you are the one who need to get out of the office.

In my opinion, wheels on luggage is the biggest improvement in travel (air or otherwise) since my first of several thousand flights almost 70 years ago. I don’t know why it took so long.
