I was so conflicted. . . for the longest time I have said that David Tennant was my favorite doctor, but then Matt Smith came along and I realized that I liked him maybe a lot more. I finally made my decision though. Every time David Tennant pops up on the screen, the little girl in me screams cries and jumps for joy. David Tennant is bae. :)

It's funny because that desire to have the episode approachable by casual viewer is especially challenging in an episode where the Time Lord's regenerative nature is highlighted in a relatively unseen way. Only 3 previous stories and a minisode had done this. (If I'm counting right, which I sometimes don't)
