Elizabeth Sladden was such a good actress. Its so nice to hear RTD sing her praises. She was my first ever companion. Unforgettable Sarah Jane Smith and very missed Elizabeth Sladden. ❤ ♥

The Gunslinger " A Town Called Mercy" is a good episode and I read about the story in the Doctor Who Magazine, section called The Fact of Fiction. It is a homage to Western films most significantly ""Gunfight at the O.k. Corrral" released in 1957.

This was truly a brilliant homage to the show being around for 50 years! Rest in peace to John Hurt as well, he was an incredible actor. I like to look back on these older episodes to try and forget the politically correct, badly written nonsense it has been turned into in recent years.

Met Colin a number of times on the fan convention circuit and every time he's been warm, funny and generous with his time. A very eloquent chap and a great ambassador for Doctor Who.

Moffat seems to think that he can use mini episodes as a way to do character work or explain plot developments that should really be accommodated for in his stories. It’s just representative of his piss poor show running.
