How can one ep include so much? 😭😭 I mean that as a total compliment to the writers and crew. All the vampires have such traumatic beginnings. Armands story was gut wrenching, then you see Claudia humiliated by the the theater and dealing with Louis ( at least Delainey liked filming the play lol she did a wonderful job as always ❤), then Louis letting Lestat go like it's relentless! Can't wait for the next one!

I was in awe of the craft while we were filming this...and I was right to be. Honestly the talent in front of and behind the camera never ceased to amaze me. I've been in this business for over 40 years, and I'm not sure I have enjoyed going to work more than I did on this series. Immensely talented cast, and not a diva amongst them.

I'm starting to think that they didn't had an interview together on purpose cause Louis with lestat is still main couple. Jacob also is kinda disgusted by all Armand's betrayal and such, so maybe he didn't want to give viewers more "fan service" with Louis and Armand Tho I find Louis and Armand's dynamic fascinating too, I know it's a relationship based on lies but it's magnetic nonetheless

Literally the best show on right now. im sorry it upsets so many people that some of the characters are gay, but that is very true to the source material, the books...not the movie. i think its beautiful the way its done and i forget to breathe when lestat is on the screen. kudos to everyone involved, as an anne rice fan, im so very pleased. (i think anne would be too) just...the amount of commercials is so excessive. i get it, u did the same thing with walking dead. but, every 5 minutes is just so freaking annoying.

Tv allows for fleshing things out, kinda like a slow burn over time. Whereas a movie has only 90 mins-2 hrs, or whatever to pack everything in quickly.

The way Armand described his origins is just heart wrenching, Assad mentioned that Armand had a rough life before being rescued by Marius who had been reluctant to turn him. I hope Louis gets to meet Marius, the way he perked up when he was talking about the artist community in Paris was wholesome and Marius being an artist himself would likely be good friends with Louis.

Sad that the comments here NEVER acknowledge all the actors in this episode, who did amazing!!! I love Delainey in this episode, she remind me of Shirley Temple, and I love that we see her and Madeleine forming a relationship. I love Santiago in this, and I literally was in shock when he found out in the end (but he already knew something was up). Louis is going more crazy and depress. Armand is being beautiful as ever and telling us a little more about his past life, but seemed to be playing games with the whole situation. BUT stupid fangirls ONLY acknowledge Sam (which remind me of those weird fans in the show lol), who was annoying and boring in this episode. He didnt do anything.

Totally agree. Sam Is great but it’s the juxtaposition with the so talented Jacob and Bailey in Season 1 that made this series. One of the best cast I’ve seen in a long time. Kudos to the casting director. The writers are top notch. Wonderful show!!

I can't wait for episode 6, when s*** is going down. And of course, episode 5, when we see young Daniel interview them. But episode 6, to be honest, is the one I am excited about. I want to see their reaction to Santiago finding out! Esited: I LOVE THIS SEASON, SO MUCH BETTER THAN SEASON ONE!!!! I dont even miss Lestat, like the other racist thirsty fans who only like season one for it. Tv version Lestat is horrible (except in episode 3).

@@jayrichardson1640 lestat is bisexual as a fact from the books. his relationship with louis is heavily implied to be a "love affair," as is louis' relationship with armand. when the first book was written, "gayness" was even more polarizing, and the author wanted to appeal to a wide audience, so she said it without saying it. anne rice has said this. she was also heavily involved with the show before her passing, and expressed happiness about the way the characters were going to be portrayed, which she felt was more in line with her source material than the movie.
