When you’re on deployment, you’ll typically have your own cabin, complete with a bathroom that’s shared with one other crew member, or a private en-suite for officers. It’s not quite the home comforts you get on land, but the accommodation is spacious compared to many merchant navy vessels and gives you some personal space to relax and watch television. Josh not having a pop but I’m well aware of what she is as I’m in the RFA, I agree she is a ship in the service of the Crown and the MOD, but we are a different animal entirely to the Navy and therefore would like us to be recognised as such!

Surprised to hear that you share a bathroom, thought that only happened on cruise ships due to cabin space, are all RFA ships laid out like this? Obviously it's no big deal (unless you've got an upset stomach and the other person needs the loo haha) but super curious!

Cannot find anything about the engines in these ships for some reason. I can find what powers QE, the T45 but not these! Anyone from RFA marine engineering help or attach a web link?

Warfare specs in the RN do lots of painting and scrubbing out. There are no warfare specs in the RFA, because the RFA is not the RN. Albeit that most RFA Captains think they are in the RN!

You're right. RFA seaman trained to much standard than RN seaman.
