M M Well she has every right to say that. “America” didn’t train every day for over a decade to make it to the olympics. Of course she earned the medal for herself/family as they were the ones that made the sacrifices necessary to excel in elite gymnastics. She’s not being disrespectful to her country by saying that.

M M what about “not owing America anything” means she hates America? I agree with her sentiment whole heartedly, but I don’t “hate America”. Also, some of this may stem from the lack of protection USAG/the US government/the USOC provided for gymnasts during Nassar’s reign of terror.

@@Marieq She is the 2005 world all-around champion (the third American woman, after Kim Zmeskal and Shannon Miller, to win that title) and the 2003 world champion on the uneven bars. She was a member of the United States women's gymnastics team at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. Winning Silver in Team. Her name was slightly over shadowed by the media with their presumed competition between Shawn Johnson and NASTIA. Chelsie a gold mind on the team with the possibilities that either Shawn or Nastia fell or didn't perform well that Chellsie would be able to keep the team high in the standings.

Saw you in Gold Over America last night, (Kansas City) What a high energy show! You were amazing. Everyone was, but you, Laurie, and Chellsie caught my eyes the most. Thank you for the tour! I know it's not the same as a meet but see three World champions and so many huge international names perform was icing on the cake. I pouted though, would have love to have seen you vault.

I love that they are able to do a show like this, it gives back to the community and also allow the gymnast to have some fun and show off some of them skills they trained so hard for. I often wondered what else after the Olympics but Ms. Simone along with the rest of these great gymnast gonna show us how its done! Hopefully in future thier be more tours like this!

Yea I know most of the elite gymnasts but not the NCAA gymnasts as it is not as widely broadcast. They are obviously just as talented but living in the UK the NCAAs don't get broadcast here :(

THE SHOW WAS PHENOMENAL! MYKAYLA, CHELLSIE AND JADE REALLY STOOD OUT FOR ME. But everyone was extremely active and interactive. I really enjoyed Miss. Vals Choreography.
