I'm so glad I found these guys one night when looking for new southern bands to listen too. Found them steel woods and another one who I can't think of. There every bit as good as the ORIGINAL LYNYRD SKYNYRD!!

Wow must be something in the ether b/c that's exactly how I came across Whiskey Myers and The Steel Woods (my two favorite bands going). I've been a hardcore Lynyrd Skynyrd fan for years now. And one night a couple of years ago - just to check to see if by chance there were any modern Southern Rock bands picking up the mantle left by LS - I googled 'modern southern rock bands' and came across a whole slew of new bands I was unaware of - my favorite two definitely being Whiskey Myers and The Steel Woods. Have been fortunate enough to catch both bands in concert twice now and they were amazing. And as I listen to them, I can't help but think Ronnie Van Zant is looking down with a huge grin on his face. Btw you should also check out Blackberry Smoke, Brent Cobb, Them Dirty Roses, The Sheepdogs, The Allman Betts Band and The Cadillac Three if you've not heard them yet. Southern Rock is the very best thing going.

To be their first production , the album is really great, with full different sounds and great order. GREAT!!! Is going to be one of my everyday albums. No doubts about it. GO ON WHISKEY MYERS and THANX A LOT FOR THIS GIFT!!

WOW This! Seems y’all got a brotherhood and THAT is a main ingredient for SUCCESS! Broken Window Serenade is still my favorite! 🤔 It resonates with everyone because: “everyone knows someone,” thereby allowing us ALL to feel the pain of the subject in the song THROUGH the powerful lyrics suitable only to YOUR voice! Keep killin em boys!

Thanks for including “glitter ain’t gold” it’s my favorite on the album. And “Houston county sky” that’s playing now has too much of my life in it to ignore. Love it guys. So much trash music and y’all kill it.

Great song writing and lyrics come from life experience .Keep southern music going.Crap today on the radio and Pop country is awful
