It's always nice watching BTS after 9 years of filming weddings and seeing other people doing what you're doing. It's good reassurance! 😆

Can anyone explain why the hell there is 4 photographers during the romantics?! @21:16
@BlakePollino Жыл бұрын
The photographer had a 2nd shooter, a friend who shoots in a different more documentary style, and an assistant that was just getting started and helping with some photos. It was a lot!

Quick tip for everyone: NEVER... like N E V E R format your card while you're at the wedding! Get your cards (and backup cards in case something goes wrong) ready the day before, so you won't risk to delete something and you'll be waaaaay more chill anyway
@HowToFilmWeddings2 жыл бұрын
We should have you do our bts from now on 😛

@@HowToFilmWeddings Oh don't get me wrong guys! I absolutely LOVE what you do and didn't mean to come across the wrong way ☺ It's just that I've learned the hard way how what might seem like a small little thing, can actually cause so much extra stress or potential issues (especially for newbies, not for seasoned filmmakers like you) which is like, the last thing you want to happen on a wedding day

Can get out of my mind why you asked the dj not to play music while the group was getting presented? Besides music infringement is there another reason?
@HowToFilmWeddings2 жыл бұрын
We were asking the band not to play music in the background for the intro because the groom’s brothers were singing a song live, and there was a welcome speech happening.

Rude telling them to shut up. The videographer's job is to shut up and be discreet.
@HowToFilmWeddings2 жыл бұрын
Not sure if this is a joke or not, but I’ll respond in case it isn’t. I was saying “shut up” in a positive manner because the footage was so ridiculously good. Like “shut up this isn’t really happening!” We would literally NEVER tell someone to shut up. Also, the videographers job can be anything, not just “to shut up and be discreet.” My couples would HATE if I was discreet. 😉
