Umm cos thats their job?.. In film school i learnt this.. A cinematographer has his equipment, so does a sound recordist. A director has just three tools..the script, the actors and the crew.. A great director communicates and stays with the actors to guide them towards a meaningful story.

@@drewhaynes1874I’m white and i get it too, i don’t think there’s anything wrong with the odd story like this (i enjoyed the movie ) but it just seems that its only ever films with black main characters that have the white saviour trope that get nominated for Oscar’s and stuff
