Games are getting more serious than movies in this era. The level of details to those environments as well as character is beyond words. They are more like real than a game.

The problem is that sometimes they forget a videogame belongs to its own medium. A videogame isn't a movie and should never be. That leads to highly scripted games like this that aren't really very fun to play and aren't replayable at all. TLOU2 is more an interactive movie than a videogame.

Honestly...I love this game & I love the story of the whole game actually 😀 You have to really understand & grasp both sides (Ellie's & Abby's) to understand the end of the game & that's what I think a lot of people aren't getting/understanding. I completely agree. Some people are so angry about it. And Abby's voice actor getting death threats, whoa. Totally uncalled for. Also people saying it's "trash"...I mean that's just dramatic. I even watched a review on YT where someone said that Ellie was interesting in the first game, but is a one dimensional stereotype in the second game. I mean wow, it's like we weren't even playing the same game. They aged her up really well and her character's progression made a lot of sense to me. I feel like some people's opinions were formed before they even played, or they had certain expectations that weren't met, and thus were unable to even experience any of the detail and depth that this game really has. It's like, if you stop complaining about it for two seconds, and let it give you an experience, you might appreciate the amazing work that it is even if you disagree with the decisions made. lol

I've never before felt such an emotional exhaustion after finishing a game. Still not finished processing it, but regardless I'm happy I played it. It's something truly unique and I'm sure many developers will draw inspiration from it for years to come in spite of its truly polarized reception. Too many AAA games try to cater to the audience, I'm glad they had their own vision and stuck to it.

@@notsofia5675 glad you asked. Wrong. Try booting up a telltale game, any telltale game, and not playing it and get to the ending of the game that way. Both the last of us and the walking dead independently, are narratively linear, they both have cut scenes with parts to explore inbetween. Infact, the walking dead can get you different endings based on player choice, where the last of us and uncharted cant. I prefer naughty dogs play style to telltale, but this argument makes no sense at all.

The fact that this game made us all feel some type of way about it regardless if it was good or bad shows that ND did there job me personally i enjoyed the game i loved it if I'm gonna be honest with you i think the 2nd game better then the first the way this game made me feel at end pissed me off because for a few days i felt empty didn't play the game in general for a few days the game made me really feel empty and i never felt that playing a game i was trying to rap my head around the way i felt this game is beautiful and this is 100% the most beautiful game i ever played a game I'll never forget

It was all fun and laughs until the song started up. Knowing what I know now, after having beaten Part II, I'm bawling. Ashley and Troy have incredible voices. I'm still caught off-guard by how well Ashley sings, even though I know her normal speaking voice is beautiful. And with Troy being a musician originally, it's amazing hearing him be able to carry Joel into a song. Phenomenal cast.

never has a game made me feel so many emotions tbh, it ranged from happiness to full on sobbing with tears, then numbness, and then absolute fear (the skyscraper and the bottom floors of the hospital 👀). the moments with dina and ellie lifted my soul i really needed their dynamic to feel better.

Video games are modern masterpieces of interactive artwork. It employs hundreds and sometimes thousands of people and takes years to build. Artists, actors, coders, musicians, writers, colorists, etc... all employed with the goal of immersing the player to experience an imaginary world. This game revolutionizes this artform. It takes it to a level not yet seen before - I played this game and I am convinced the characters and the situations are real... Even days after i finished the game the experience lingered on in my heart and soul. This game is absolutely genius... I make art for a living - I hope in my lifetime I can be a part of something so amazing. I am publicly congratulating Neil and all the Naughty Dog team on an absolute masterpiece. Your excellence is inspiring and its absolutely evident that you all poured ALL of you into every inch of this world. I am honored to have experienced a piece of your heartfelt labor of love.

Troy is honestly a REALLY SOLID guitarist. time is great, tone is consistent, sounds very sure of himself and very practiced. even if he didnt practice his ass off to nail this performance, that only proves that he's very fundamentally sound as a guitarist. Everything about this team and cast screams virtuosity and i love it; be it Last of Us III or something completely different, i need more of their art/work
